Summary
Over the past few years MLA has completed research using industry funds into several off-farm science and technology platforms that have potential to grow red meat demand. This has included development of proof of concepts, modelling and evaluation from meat science perspective as well as initial value proposition considerations. This project enabled provisions for MLA to prepare short you tube shoots of the various technology platforms and red meat concepts to capture and bring to life the various final reports that have been submitted to entice potential future collaborators and adopters of these platforms. Further, this mode of communication has been added to MLA website as a tool that can be used by MLA to present at trade shows and industry sessions to engage and present value chain innovation activities.
