Summary
ISC is enhancing New Relic monitoring across all products to support the ISC 2025 strategy. External consultants are engaged to elevate IT support, enabling faster incident detection. The project will equip the application team with tools for efficient performance monitoring and root cause analysis. Business dashboards will provide detailed user experience insights, driving continuous improvement. The main objective is to enhance New Relic’s instrumentation, configuration, alerting, and dashboards by implementing Observability as Code, focusing on eight key tasks.
Objectives
The objectives of this project include:
• completing the assessment of existing ISC New Relic monitoring implementation and the solution design based on assessment findings
• completing the build, test, and deployment of automation pipelines (Observability as code) to improve New Relic instrumentation, configuration, alerting and dashboards
• completing the documentation, fine-tuning and continuous improvement/support.
