Summary

The expanding of the Australian beef market through retail promotions will help increase consumer awareness in Korea. This program focused on joining major retailers at roadshows, festivals and retail anniversary promotion events. It also covered POS developments, brand/product promotion advertisements with retailers, and also supports online retail promotion which increased under Covid restrictions.

Objectives

This project covers the reporting period of 2021 – 2022 and addresses
the following International Markets priorities for the Korea region:
Priority 1: Build brand equity for Australian red meat amongst targeted
consumers.
Priority 2: Increase the ‘physical availability’ of Australian beef,
lamb and goatmeat products.
Priority 3: Develop ‘educated ambassadors’ (staff, customers, media and influencers).
