Summary

MLA Japan delivers the Supermarket Trade Show on behalf of the Australian Red Meat industry. The tradeshow is the key opportunity to connect Australian and Japanese company's each year. Australian suppliers, producers and exporters are invited to participate in the trade show booth setup under the True Aussie Beef branding, with up to 12 participating each year. MLA conducts sampling and a large scale projections seminar during the tradeshow to further enhance Australia's presence in the market.

Objectives

This project covers the reporting period of 2020 – 2025 and addresses
the following International Markets priorities for the Japan region:

  • Priority 1: Increase the ‘physical availability’ of Australian beef,
    lamb and goatmeat products.
  • Priority 2: Cultivate commercial investment to grow overall sales and
    marketing presence for Australian red meat.
