Summary

The NLIS database is a key enabler of red meat traceability, biosecurity and market access. Investment in the NLIS database is crucial for our industry to respond to biosecurity risks and market access demands, of both today and into the future. The Federal Government has committed to funding an uplift of the current NLIS system, to ensure it can support biosecurity risks and market access demands, of both today and into the future.

Objectives

This project is to support the engagement of a probity group, to oversee the RFI, RFP and contracting of the remaining stages 3, 4 and 5 of the NLIS Database Uplift ensuring the utmost transparency, accuracy and fairness in aligning with the Grant funding terms and conditions throughout the tendering process.
