Summary

This two-year project, funded by DAFF through its ATMAC grant, will capitalise on improved access in the India (AI-ECTA) by initiating trade engagement and business development programs around sheepmeat. Trade facilitation and education activities will be conducted with Indian importers and key accounts. Projects will also be delivered in collaboration with DFAT/Austrade and DAFF officials in India.

Objectives

  • Increased awareness, usage and perception of Australian sheepmeat amongst targeted trade customers.
  • At least three Aussie Meat Academy educational seminars/workshops conducted with successful engagement and conversion scores (event survey).
  • Contribution towards or participation in at least three trade shows/trade events.
