Key findings

Due to the nature of PGS delivery, there are no key findings.

Benefits to industry

MLA should invest in this delivery as PGS has gathered significant momentum over the past few years with over 1200 producers engaged across over 80 groups in the program's lifetime. There is a $4–$17/km2 additional financial benefit annually for participating northern producers, that represented more than 18 million hectares in the northern regions.

MLA action

MLA continues to deliver the Profitable Grazing Systems (PGS) program, supporting participants to have the opportunity to develop and practice skills with small groups of like-minded producers to improve business performance.
