Summary

Delivery of the PayDirt North supported learning package will engage up to 240 cattle producers across twelve groups in Queensland. The delivery of the package will upskill Queensland producers to integrate new management practices into their grazing systems, through skills and confidence-building that will enable informed decision making around fertiliser application. This package will also help increase familiarity of the PGS brand with Northern beef producers. This project was terminated as the lead deliverer left the organisation and the project could no longer proceed.

Objectives

Delivery of MLA’s Off the Shelf Profitable Grazing Systems Supported Learning Package (SLP) ‘PayDirt North’ to 12 groups across Queensland.

Key findings

Project was terminated resulting in no findings.

Benefits to industry

The delivery of the package upskilled Queensland producers to integrate new management practices into their grazing systems, through skills and confidence-building that will enable informed decision making around fertiliser application. This package also helped increase familiarity of the PGS brand with Northern beef producers.
