Summary
The SAFEMEAT Advisory Group Chair has been appointed by SAFEMEAT to Chair the meetings of the SAFEMEAT Advisory Group and to facilitate effective consultation and the efficient formation of policy to underpin SAFEMEAT activities and programs (including the red meat industry’s integrity system). This project is for SAFEMEAT Advisory Group Chair services for FY23 - FY24.
Objectives
1. Support SAFEMEAT Partners in the oversight and promotion of sound management systems to deliver safe and hygienic product to consumers.
2. Drive the SAFEMEAT Business Plan work program.
3. Provide input into the development and review of the standards and rules that underpin the Australian meat industry’s integrity systems.
