Summary

Development of low fidelity minimum viable product (MVP) concepts can help "bring to life" high value opportunity spaces for new products and packaging using Australian red meat. Costs for sketches and concept samples and early stage in-market immersions to help frame key assumptions will be allocated to this CMA for FY20/21.

Objectives

The objectives for the consultant of this project are as follows:
• Plan and execute 2 x F2F meetings with THRIVE management to align organizational direction with vision / mission for MLA High Value Food Frontiers investment.
• Plan and execute 2 x F2F meetings with THRIVE project team to prepare for partner-facing session (CoreFX) and scope broader partnership & roadmap for venture development, including refinement of MLA Upcycle Investment Case.
• In consultation with MLA secure 1 x F2F meeting with US / EU ingredient company to validate product-related Upcycle Business model assumptions and scope a collagen supply pilot.
• Attend meeting and summarise key points from the consultancy work in a report back to MLA.
