Summary

This project was to to support the delivery of LDL communication activities as part of the ongoing implementation of the ISC Communications, Stakeholder Engagement and Adoption Strategy, including:
• printing and production of a range of LDL materials including fact sheets, flyers, supply chain specific communications
• development of case studies
• design, development and production of LDL publications for events.

This project facilitated the development of a range of low-risk but important products to build awareness of LDL prior to future system enhancements.

Benefits to industry

LDL links carcase data from the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS), Meat Standards Australia (MSA) and the central Animal Health databases with analytical tools, benchmarking reports and the Solutions to Feedback library. Producers can use LDL to understand why their consignment did or did not comply with market requirements, including carcase compliance and animal health issues.
