Summary

This project aims at building the base compliance framework within the Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) Database for ISC to better manage producer LPA compliance. The LPA database will be enhanced to align with the changes to the LPA Program through the IS2025 Strategy and to increase producer awareness and education of their LPA program requirements in line with the ISC Communications Strategy.

Objectives

The consultant will provide services to support the development, maintenance and hosting of the LPA database. These services include:
• cloud-based hosting services for the LPA Database
• development of new functionality within the LPA Database as directed by ISC
• maintenance of the LPA Database as directed by ISC.

Key findings

The objectives of the project were completed and accepted by ISC.

Benefits to industry

Increase producer awareness and education of LPA requirements.

MLA action

MLA/ISC should continue to improve the LPA database to align to increase producer awareness and education on LPA program requirements.
