Summary

The purpose of this CMA is to support costs associated with developing innovation capabilities of the MLA Co-innovation managers. A series of activities including MLA Co-innovation networking events, learning and development exercises and assessment processes are proposed to facilitate the ongoing development of innovation capabilities of the MLA co-funded innovation roles.

Objectives

Support costs associated with developing innovation capabilities of the MLA Co-investment innovation managers.

Benefits to industry

The proposed Co-innovation network events FY21 project builds on the successes achieved from previous FY20 support (i.e. Project V.CAP.2019) provided to enable MLA to facilitate a series of staged Co-innovation network events (i.e. consisting of face-to-face and virtual workshops and supply chain partner meetings). The current financial support, which commences in July 2020, will enable MLA to conduct several industry events amongst its collaborative partners. The Co-innovation network events FY21 project will cover Hargraves Institute membership subscription costs (i.e. $7,000 per annum) that assures all collaborative roles (including Co-innovation managers, and Supply Chain and Digital officers) to participate at all Hargraves network events with its members throughout the year.
