Summary

Delivery of the MLA's off the shelf Profitable Grazing Systems package "Grass to Dollars" to a group of red meat producers in South Australia. This delivery will occur over eight sessions spanning over 12 months. The delivery will occur in the Mid North and Goyder regions of South Australia, most of the group participants will be from the Burra, Booborowie and Manooran regions.

Objectives

Delivery of MLA’s Off the Shelf Profitable Grazing Systems Supported Learning Package (SLP) ‘Grass to Dollars’ to a group of producers in South Australia.
The SLP will focus on the feedbase curriculum.

Delivery commenced in May 2022 and concluded within 18 months.

Key findings

As this is a producer adoption project, no key findings were found.

Benefits to industry

The most recent Producer Adoption Impact Assessment demonstrated on average, producers that participate in PGS can expect an additional net benefit of $18/ha annually.
