Summary

Delivery of the MLA off the shelf profitable grazing systems package "Building Better Breeders" to producers in Wagga Wagga, Riverina New South Wales. This delivery will engage up to 15 red meat producer participants over six face-to-face workshop sessions. Building Better Breeders focuses on equipping producers with skills in identifying, managing, and maintaining a better breeding herd.

Objectives

Delivery of approved SLP – Building Better Breeders (cattle breeding systems) to a group of cattle producers in NSW.

Key findings

Due to the nature of producer adoption programs, there are no key findings.

Benefits to industry

The delivery of this package will see engagement of up to 15 red meat producer participants. Profitable Grazing Systems impact that participating producers, on average receive a return of $17.47/ha due to the adoption of management practices.
