Summary
MLA is improving the accessibility of its R&D deliverables to stakeholders by writing ‘easy read’ summaries of completed projects. The consultant reviewed summaries from recently completed R&D projects in 2020 to ensure they are ‘easy read’, non-technical and are clear and concise to ensure stakeholders can rapidly digest the contents.
Objectives
The objective of this project was to review and edit the project summaries for MLA's recently completed R&D projects, to ensure they are high quality and easy-to-read.
Benefits to industry
This project helped to ensure that MLA's project summaries are of a consistent high standard to increase accessibility and transparency of MLA's investments to stakeholders. The use of a non‐subject matter expert to review MLA's project summaries creates the opportunity to maintain consistent and comprehensive outputs to stakeholders.
