eDEC support and maintainence

Summary

The Livestock Product Assurance (LPA) National Vendor Declaration (NVD) communicates the food safety and treatment status of every animal every time it moves along the value chain – between properties, to saleyards, or to processors. The NVD also acts as movement documentation throughout the value chain.

This project covered the cost of maintenance and services of the online electronic declaration (eDEC) online solution for the National Vendor Declaration (eNVD) system.

The project provided maintenance to the product to ensure it continues to be available to producers using the service.

Objectives

• Form maintenance and bug fixes within the eDEC system:
  • NVD forms (Cattle, sheep, bobby calves, goats, EU Cattle)
  • commodity vendor declarations
  • MSA Declarations
  • eNFAS declarations.
• Support for all browser types (Windows IE 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, Edge16, Edge17, Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Firefox and Opera.)
• Support for different platforms: PC 32 bit and 64 bit, Apple Mac, Android Tablets, Ipads, Terminal Services which the browsers operate.
• System maintenance and bug fixes to eFORM online.

The maintenance and support of eDEC is important to ensure the service is available 24/7 for producers wanting to access the electronic version of the NVD, Meat Standards Australia (MSA) declaration and all other forms.
