Summary
This project resourced the industry consultation associated with the investment call.
This Company Managed Agreement (CMA) funded Regional consultation investment call costs for 2019-20, including:
- Red Meat Panel expenses
- expert panel chair and members sitting fees and expenses
- Southern Producer Panel sitting fees and expenses
- Western Producer Panel sitting fees and expenses.
Investment priorities identified through regional consultation framework were developed into Terms of reference and the 2019-20 investment call was conducted. Producer panels, technical expert panel and red meat panel reviewed and made recommendations to the MLA board on projects for funding.
Benefits to industry
In 2019 - 20, the Regional consultation investment call process facilitated the recommendation of 14 research and development (R&D) projects across the on-farm productivity programs.
