Summary

The Livestock Data Link (LDL) program has been on a pathway to imporvement over recent years. To validate assumption made regarding the value proposition of an industry funded feedback systems, Integrity Systems Company (ISC) undertook discovery sprints with industry.

This company managed activity (CMA) covered expenses related to the implementation of the Livestock Lifetime Performance Data Sprint (LDL 90 day sprint).

Objectives

Undertake a sprint with industry partners to validate the assumption that industry valued livestock lifetime performance.

Benefits to industry

This company managed activity was used to support the Livestock Lifetime Performance Data Sprint. This sprint was critical to assessing the LDL platform and discussing required changes to ensure the platform continues to meet the needs and requirements of industry. Livestock Lifetime Performance has been determined as something which the red meat industry would value.

MLA action

The outcomes of this discovery sprint have informed future work within ISC to enable the generation of data which can support livestock lifetime performance. Future investments will continue to support ISC in enabling this data to be captured for industry benefit.
