Summary

LERDAC meets face to face two to three times a year to guide the strategic direction of the Livestock Export Program (LEP) research, development and extension (RD&E) program. This project is an allocation of funds to cover member sitting fees, travel and accommodation expenses, plus venue costs associated with meetings of the committee.

Benefits to industry

The LEP RD&E Blueprint 2020-25 is designed to support the continuous improvement of the livestock export industry through targeted research, development and extension (RD&E). LERDAC is responsible for ensuring continuity and delivery of the goals identified in the LEP Blueprint at the strategic level.

Future research

LERDAC will be responsible for reviewing the goals identified in the LEP RD&E Blueprint on an annual basis.
