Summary
This Company Managed Activity (CMA) was associated with the Forewarned is Forearmed (FWFA) project.
Objectives
The CMA was set up to support a mini-conference held at the conclusion of the project with attendance by red meat, grains, dairy and wine producers.
The key purpose of the conference was to:
- Reflect on key outputs from FWFA and to consider key learnings
- Discuss future management and reporting options of FWFA legacy products
- Receive updates and consider outputs / outcomes from Northern Australia Climate Program, the Drought and Climate Adaptation Program, Future Drought Fund and Climate Services for Agriculture project
- Identify any gaps in the weather and climate space and how these might be filled
