Summary
This project provided funding to access the KGF Innovation kitchen for MLA led projects.
MLA undertakes a number of bespoke workshops and new product demonstrations across the various business units such as innovation events, photo shoots and Masterclasses as well as presentation to key vendors and stakeholders. Securing a location to complete these is often problematic. Kilcoy Global Foods are commissioning a test kitchen inY21 and MLA is supporting its design with the intension to pilot ideation sessions in 2020/21 with key services outlined in MLA letter of intent dated 9th June sent to Kilcoy linked to this CMA. A MDC partnership project is also being scoped for Y21 to pilot activities post the build as part of developing innovation capability.
Note - This CMA will only cover the cost of room hire and not any other associated costs.
Objectives
The overall objective of this project was to support MLA initiated events at the KGF innovation kitchen facilities to test and evaluate new red meat concepts dynamically and interactively with customers and vendors.
