Summary

This project will coordinate the development and delivery of the ISC flagship communication and extension initiative 'Integrity Systems Stand by what you sell' program. Specific activities will include stakeholder liaison, resource development (including a pick and pack PPT slide deck, NLIS Tech tips, integrity welcome pack and LPA resource review), extension for producers (through a targeted program of webinars, podcasts and face to face events) and capacity building of industry influencers.

Objectives

Stakeholder coordination and liaison – to establish and manage partner relationships, activities and events. Through this framework – stakeholder communication support will also be provided across a range of ISC activities.
Producer extension – via ISC or through partnerships with a variety of stakeholders (SDAs, SFOs, PICs etc.) and delivered through a program of webinars (at least 2 per month) and podcasts (1 per month) on a range of topics) as well as a range of face-to face events for existing commercial and small landholders.

Industry Influencer capability building - develop and deliver an industry influencer capability building program for livestock agents, transporters, saleyard management, farm supplies staff and AuctionsPlus and others utilising existing networks.

Resource development – undertake a significant resource development program of work to support a range of ISC communication projects and distribution channels.

Benefits to industry

The resources developed support producers and relevant stakeholders to understand and meet the requirements of ISC products and programs. This in turn maintains Australia's traceability and food safety credentials. This benefits industry by improving market access and trust in Australian red meat.

Future research

Communication resources will continue to be improved as required.
