Summary
The UN Food Systems Summit was held in New York in September 2021. It reviewed and provided recommendations around sustainable production systems and the sustainable consumption of red meat. This project was designed to support industry to align and coordinate input to the Summit, to support the representation of industry and ensure participation in the discussion. The Global Meat Alliance was engaged to work with the international red meat and livestock sector to coordinate messaging and help the industry provide effective input into the Global FSS dialogues.
