Summary
IHS provides global trade data, and it is imperative for market insights team to use their data and inform key market developments as well as competitor performance to our industry.
Objectives
This contract delivers meat export and live export data in terms of meat volume, number of head and value, for Australia and 35 other countries, which adds to MLA’s (and Livecorp’s) knowledge base, allowing for more accurate analysis of our major markets and our competitive position. By tracking Australia’s exports and being able to compare them with those of our competitors, we are able to discern where we are generating the highest value, and whether there are opportunities for further development in existing or new markets.
