Summary

There is a need for a targeted remote delivery support and mentoring mechanism to enable deliverers to efficiently and confidently use remote delivery technology. This will provide supported learning in remote rural areas where distances don't allow the provision of other measures to enable follow up delivery with PGS participants.

The service provider will provide strategic mentoring to deliverers on an individual basis as they engage in the process of using the new remote delivery technology.  Individual webinar support will be provided for PGS presenters when delivering their first two or three webinars.  Assistance will be provided to deliverers to prepare and deliver their webinar with feedback and further coaching provided as needs arise. This will include webinar development and delivery, interactive technology use and training of producers to increase their confidence and capability in these programs and any trouble-shooting associated with the implementation of these new technologies and skills.

Objectives

The key tasks of the PGS remote delivery project is to:

  • Provide individual webinar support for PGS presenters delivering their first two or three webinars including event planning, event rehearsal, pre-live event system check, live event technical support, post-event follow-up and coaching as required.

Benefits to industry

The provision of this support and mentoring will increase the confidence, capacity and capability of PGS deliverers to use remote delivery technology and enable them to fulfil the PGS program expectations of producer interaction.
