Summary
State of the Industry (SOTI) report is an annual publication prepared by MLA's Market Information team which outlines annual production of Sheep, Cattle and Goat including aspects such as livestock pricing trends, slaughter rates, carcase size etc. The report examines trends (relative to prior periods) and current numbers influenced by macro drivers (e.g. employment/inflation rates etc.), environmental drivers (climate, rainfall etc.), political (any changes to regulations etc.), cultural (consumption trends). Plus a summary of export statistics.
