Summary

This project provided funding to Landcare Australia for a total of 13 grants to demonstrate MLA’s commitment to sustainable agriculture and to inspire kids to learn where their food comes from.

Objectives

To inspire kids to learn where their food comes from through Landcare Australia grants.

Key findings

Whilst association and support for Landcare was worthwhile for the schools and students, by just sponsoring the school grants there were limited opportunities to engage on key messages with the schools. More direct communication and engagement with schools program would likely be more impactful.
