Summary

The Managing Climate Variability (MCV) Program was a long-term partnership of RDCs including GRDC, SRA, CRDC, RIRDC, DA and HAI on how to improve seasonal climate forecasting. This project enabled co-investment from various industries to improve the skill and adoption of seasonal climate forecasting in Australia.

Objectives

Create a vehicle and collect funds from interested agricultural RDCs in Australia to undertake R&D and adoption initiatives that improve the skill and adoption of seasonal climate forecasting in Australia.

MLA action

Funds were collected from GRDC, SRA, CRDC, RIRDC, DA and HAI and adminstered by MLA into various R&D and adoption projects.
