Summary

This is the tenth round of consumer benchmarking which continues to track community sentiment in relation to the production of livestock in Australia, the level of community trust towards red meat producers and attitudes towards the consumption of red meat.

Benchmarking is undertaken to:

• To determine people’s perceptions of the red meat industry and any concerns they have

• To understand the purchase behaviours and consumption of meat, and subsequent barriers

• To gain insights to help MLA’s ongoing communications strategy to build the public’s trust in the red meat industry.
