Summary
The consultant provides ongoing support and services for the multiple MSA IT systems and programs necessary for the operation of the program.
Objectives
The services are as follows for a range of MSA systems:
• technical assistance
• IT support for MSA producers and end user registration portals
• IT project management.
Benefits to industry
The MSA systems allow processors, brand owners, producers and lot feeders to utilise the MSA grading data collected and asses their system in order to validate any production changes which aim to optimise eating quality. The service also allows for linkages between industry systems that support MSA including on-farm accreditations and third party auditing of the MSA Standards.
Future research
The consultant will continue to be contracted to provide MSA system support.
