Summary
MLA and other research providers have funded a range of projects on the safe and effective handling and utilisation of feedlot manure and effluent. This project collected and collated all this information to produce a user friendly reference document that addresses all aspects of manure and effluent handling and utilisation, and highlights the critical issues for their safe, sustainable and productive utilisation.
Information collected from disparate sources, including research reports produced for MLA and other research agencies, and other articles in the public arena, was distilled to form a handbook that can be readily used by industry operators and consultants.
