  • LDL advisory committee costs
  • IT equipment hire
  • Cost of venues and catering
  • Other equipment or material required for meetings or workshops.

Benefits to industry

This project was important in supporting the LDL Advisory Committee. LDL is a web-based MLA initiative that aims to enhance the exchange and utilisation of performance information by businesses within the red meat industry. It is done by linking data with analytical tools, benchmarking reports, and solutions to feedback.

Slaughter, and health and disease data is gathered from:

  • National Livestock Identification System (NLIS)
  • Meat Standards Australia (MSA)
  • Central Animal Health (CAH)

MLA action

This project is an ongoing annual expense to support the LDL advisory committee, its required activities, and some LDL support costs.
