Summary

LiveCorp provides a range of training services to the industry which include Saudi Vaccinator Training; these courses are highly valued by the industry and in some cases, are required under regulations (ASEL / Export Orders). The Vaccinator Training Program must produce trained and accredited vaccinators for the Saudi Livestock Export Program (SLEP) to enable the export of Australian sheep to Saudi Arabia.
The need for trained vaccinators can occur at short notice and there is currently no system in place to ensure the skills of previously accredited vaccinators are maintained by means of refresher training together with the provision of training materials outlining best practice techniques. This project has delivered the course material as an eLearning module and hard copy 'Course Pack' of powerpoints, trainer's guide, student manual and assessment as required. The hard copy materials have been piloted with a small group of learners.  This model will keep delivery costs very low, and allow the flexibility to accredit Saudi vaccinators across a broad geographical area, as and when required.
