Summary
These projects developed and produced workshop materials and conducted workshops to deliver the outcomes of research activities to industry participants. Specifically, training workshops in animal health, occupational health and safety, animal welfare management, nutrition and feed milling, environmental management and the National Feedlot Accreditation Scheme were conducted to complement the training available through the NSW TAFE conducted competency based courses. Speakers to present the outcomes of feedlot R&D projects at the industry Beefex and BeefWorks conferences are also funded through this project initiative.
