Summary

This project code paid for IP protection expenses from GTG MDC project 'P.PSH.0207 - Novel Anthelmintic Technologies' Genetic Technologies (GTG), where the MDC contracted research towards developing a novel anthelmintic for worm control.
After GTGs business focus changed, interest and investment in this technology was reduced. Accordingly MLA canvassed investment and/or commercialisation partnerships with other animal health pharmaceutical companies.
Unfortunately as the R&D & IP was too early the companies approached were not interested, thus GTG & MLA decided to allow the patents to lapse.
