On-Farm Goat Program RD&E 5 Year Strategy

Summary

This project was funded to develop a five year RD&E Strategy for the MLA On-Farm Goat Program. It was essential that the Goat Industry had a stringent and well consulted strategy to deliver results on the many challenges facing the Goat Industry at a supply level, which link into market driven outcomes, and deliver sustainable and profitable systems for producers. The strategy was developed to guide MLA On-Farm RD&E investments and guide similar investments from other stakeholders. Following consultation with the Goat Industry Council of Australia (GICA) and MLA, an RD&E strategy was developed for the goat industry. The strategy can be downloaded from the MLA website.
