Summary

The Pasture Variety Trial Network (PVTN) was established in 2011 to evaluate variety performance of key pasture plant species relevant to the red meat industries of southern Australia.   SGA Solutions Pty Ltd was engaged by MLA in July 2012 to manage the PVTN program for a three year period. This project oversaw the implementation of an auditing program for the PVTN, the engagement of a data analyst and database developer and the ongoing management of the PVTN Technical Advisory Committee (PTAC). This project was terminated in May 2014 after the development and contracting of a new project through the MLA Donor Company to undertake pasture variety trials for the red meat industry.
