Summary

The Australian Agriculture & Natural Resource Online (AANRO) Database provides bibliographic and research information on Australian agriculture and natural resource management. It contains descriptions of research projects and publications covering land and water resources, agriculture and forestry. It was developed in 1996 and integrated three databases: Australian Agricultural Research in Progress (AARIP), Australian Bibliography of Agriculture (ABOA) and Streamline. AANRO was considered critical to the national management of agriculture and natural resource management. MLA's investment was to support an appropriately modified AANRO database. Contract B.CMP.0001 covered MLA's contribution towards the total annual cost of ongoing operations of AANRO to 30 June 2007. Contract B.CMP.0155 covered MLA's participation in and funding contribution to AANRO from 1st July 2007 to 30 June 2010.
