Summary
This project supported the Australian Merino Sire Evaluation Association to introduce link sires across their sire evaluauton sites. By using selected young industry sires this project provided genetic linkage to enhance the capacity to provide across site genetic evaluation and provide genetic linkage to the MERINOSELECT database. Australian Sheep Breeding Values were made publically available through AMSEA and MERINOSELECT reporting.
