Summary

The project is focused on resolving tension between the goals of production and conservation, providing the basis for much better integration of biodiversity into production grazing systems. This scoping project is to inform any MLA investment in the FFI CRC’s biodiversity program and assist with integration of biodiversity in EverGraze.

This project will explore and document opportunities and strategies to better integrate management of biodiversity into production pasture management. It will achieve this by analysing the degree and means by which biodiversity knowledge is currently integrated into production research and extension.

The output of the scoping project will be incorporated into the Future Farming Industries CRC, Biodiversity and Water Program, and Future Livestock systems.
