Summary
This CMA funded auditing costs for Environment/Climate Change projects as per DAFF requirement for external audit (approx $4,000). The projects involved were the Pathways (Landleader) project and the complementary project to develop greenhouse best management questions to be included in the Landleader survey. Both projects were funded from NHT money funded by DAFF. The CMA also paid an invoice ($1,664.90) dated October 2007 which was not paid previously. It was one of several invoices recently received for initial consultation/training of producers or prospective auditors under the LPA QA module proposed to be developed as part of the same Landleader project. The LPA QA module development did not proceed and the projects were closed but no budget had been allowed for outstanding amounts owing to producers. These debts had to be met. Steve Banney who was involved in 2007 estimates that this is the last outstanding payment.
