Summary
The MLA Live Export Program produced "A guide to better dairy herd management in the tropics" as part of project W.LIV.0359 Improved management packages for tropical and temperate dairy production technology. As part of this project a pilot workshop was undertaken in Kluang, Malaysia. The pilot workshop highlighted some shortcomings in disease and herd health management and engaged a dairy consultant to prepare specific materials and co-deliver a similar workshop in Keningau, Malaysia from 2 to 6 November 2009.
