Summary
MLA invests in a number of committees and workshops for a multitude of purposes including one off meetings to scope projects and test new ideas, through to on-going committee meetings which assist to develop RD&E priorities. Examples of these committees include the Southern Australia Beef Research Council (SABRC, now not operational), Northern Beef Industry Committee (NBIC,now not operational), and Northern Australia Beef Research Council (NABRC).
These projects don't result in final reports, rather they are supporting projects that underpin meeting costs such as sitting fees, venue hire and travel costs of participants.
