Summary
This project was initiated to provide undergraduate students with seven new sheep industry based units to be delivered through a range of Australian universities to encourage pursuit of a career in the sheep industry. The following sheep industry based units were developed; sheep production (wool and meat), sheep genetics,sustainable agriculture and catchment management, sheepmeat technology, veterinary health, nutrition and biochemistry, sheepmeat production and marketing, sheep production systems (economic case studies, integration).
