Summary
The purpose of the "keep it real" conference was to demonstrate the range of QA and environmental assurance programs available to agriculture. The conference was the first attempt to merge the annual QA conference and the annual EMS conference. The conference was supported by a range of industries including dairy, horticulture, grains, wool, wine and red meat. The idea for the conference was conceived at the last EMS conference, where producers were left underwhelmed by high level discussions and academic debate surrounding EMS.
