Summary

The Australian beef seedstock industry now has a continuous review process in place as a result of this Producer Research Support project. Breed societies are now involved with Australian Registered Cattle Breeders Association (ARCBA) in six key areas that include inter-firm comparisons, Seedstock Code of Practice, extension to the commercial industry, strategic planning, monitoring the composition of the commercial herd and BREEDPLAN recording.
