Summary
This review was commissioned by Meat and Livestock Australia to assess the report Projection of regional feed demand and supply in Australia produced by Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Cost analysis (ABARE) and funded by the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC).
The project was commissioned as a result of a concern that an inaccurate representation of the feed grain supply and demand situation in Australia could have serious implications for the intensive livestock industries in satisfying industry growth targets, international competitiveness now and into the future.
