WA sheep and lamb slaughter report now available

Meat & Livestock Australia have launched a WA weekly sheep and lamb slaughter report, broadening the existing eastern states slaughter reports and providing industry with further information to underpin their business decisions.
WA lamb slaughter started 2016 fairly steadily, tracking between 53,000 head and 56,000 head week to week. Mutton slaughter on the other hand has tapered from late last year, hovering around 35,000 head so far this year.
