Mostly dry start to October

There was little rainfall recorded across the country this week, with isolated pockets on the eastern coast of the Cape York Peninsula and western side of the Top End measuring falls of up to 25mm. Southern WA saw only a light band of showers that delivered rainfall of 1-15mm to areas between Bunbury and Albany, while western Tasmania recorded similar rainfall. The remainder of the country was mostly dry.
